Zero-G Climbing

This year Zero-G Climbing is six years old and for us, the absolute best part about our gear is seeing people out there and using it. Call us sentimental but we always come over all warm and fuzzy when we see one of our karabiners, belay devices, wires, ropes, helmets, harnesses, T’s or Hoodies adorning a stranger. And if they are having a great time using it – then all the better.

The Zero-G Climbing brand was created by husband and wife team Paul and Cathy Casey who, after years of working in gear shops to fund climbing trips all over the world wondered why on earth the Europeans got offered so much great value gear and the Brits – well, didn’t! After much pondering in fine drinking establishments, freezing tents and on zen belay ledges the small clink of an idea began to form into the heady jangling of a full blown climbing hardware brand. The super cool logo was purchased off some mates for a pint and thus Zero-G Climbing was born……

Our parent company, Mountain Works Ltd has worked hard to make sure that Zero-G climbing gear has established itself as THE great value, no nonsense, British climbing brand and we are committed to deliver to you, our customers and fellow climbers, really great climbing gear that you are proud to own.

Climbing Technology

Available in the UK for the first time ever Climbing Technology has been created with the most important of Italian qualities – passion. With over 20 years of international experience specialising in climbing equipment CT create their huge range to the highest specifications in an ultra modern factory .

All production processes adhere to the high levels you would expect of an ISO 9001:2000 certified company. Their dynamic R&D department and busy test laboratory performs on average one rupture test every six minutes!!!!

Of course, such an amazing company hasn’t just arrived in Italy overnight. The Climbing Technology brand has partly evolved from the factory's long heritage of creating fantastic products for other brands in both the sport climbing and Work at Height markets. This is why the eagle eyed among you may well have been wondering why some items looked a little familiar …
